Keeping a Joyful Marriage

Marriages will always have their ups and downs, but how do you truly keep a happy marriage through the lows?  Well the answer is very simple – you must keep God at the center point of your marriage!

We tend to want to keep control over things that we cannot control and sometimes we even want to control our partners.  And if you are married or have ever been in a relationship, how many times did you come out successful trying to do this on your own YOUR way?  Exactly – because it’s rare!

Instead of trying to control situations that are already out of your control or trying to control your partner, seek God in prayer and ask Him for guidance in your relationships.  Pray for each other.  And when you start to feel that God is guiding you or when God begins to speak to you, remember to listen to ALL that He has to say – whether you may like it or not!  If you are in the right spirit and are truly hearing God’s voice, do not pick and choose what you want to hear from Him and choose to ignore the rest.  God ALWAYS knows what is best for us, even when we don’t know it at that time, but will inevitably, if not always, understand why later.

Having a marriage without imperfections is just not realistic, but it is not difficult to have a happy marriage if you are a couple of equal yolk, keeping God in it at ALL TIMES, keep in prayer and follow the Bible commandments for the duties of being a wife or for the duties of being the husband.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.  Ephesians 4:32

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.  1 Peter 4:8-9

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto to God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7

So give it all in prayer!

Are You a Lukewarm Christian? Or are You on Fire for God?

Be not weary saints when we pray, when we worship or when we speak about God.  Nor be ashamed to praise God when the Holy Spirit moves.

It is time to awake from our slumber and be on fire for God….. STAY WOKE!

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.  Romans 12:11

Demons Exist, but God Has Given You the Power to Overcome Them

God has given us free will to choose how to live in this world.  Some choose to live righteously, others unrighteously, and perhaps some who are living a little inbetween fighing an internal battle of trying to choose between the good and evil.

Because God is not of this world, the ruler of this world is Satan thus why we have internal conflict with ourselves and external conflict of evil doings in this world because we live in it.

However YHWH says in the Bible to be of good cheer because He has already overcome the world so that you can have peace during tribulation and that He has already given you the power to fight against the ruler of this world and Satan’s army of demons.

Theses things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.  In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.  John 16:33

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Ephesians 6:13

So never feel as if you are defeated when conflict arise in your life.  The thought of feeling defeated does not come from God – it is a lie from Satan.  God does not give man the spirit of fear.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  2 Timothy 1:7

So are you in God’s army?  And do you have your armour ready?

Tired? Keep Going Because Your Blessing is Just around the Corner

We all get tired, even as Christians, but we cannot use this as an excuse to give up because that just means that you are moving closer to your blessing!  So you can’t give up now!

To be tired does not always mean being tired in a physical sense, but sometimes it could be that you are tired a mental, emotional or spiritual sense.  And when we get too tired, these are the times that we easily throw in the towel and give up, especially when we are so close to our breakthrough.  But how will we know or receive the fruits of our labor if we just give up too easily?  That is why being “tired” should never be our excuse to quit because we could miss our reward – especially after working so hard for it.  Therefore, imagine if there was a treasure chest that was 1 mile away.  Your goal is to walk the mile to get to that reward and during the journey, you only had 1 more yard to walk – Would you stop walking?

Jesus says in the Bible that when we are weary, come to Him to seek rest.  For our Lord and Savior is the only one that can release our heavy burdens and give us the spiritual rest that we need to renew our strength.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give your rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.  Matthews 11:28-30

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.  Hebrews 6:10

For they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31

So when tired, just wait upon the Lord to renew your strength and He will guide you through your journey to your Blessings!
